Hi, this is Betsy from Otto's. The official ribbon cutting for the Susquehanna River Walk is this Saturday, May 15, at 11 AM. But, both before and after, there will be a lot to see and do in the nearby parking lot on the corner of Church and Market Sts, including..."Ta Da!" Betsy from Otto's with books of regional history and regional natural attractions. From 10 to 2 you can meet local authors Robin Van Auken, Lou Hunzinger, Jr and Thad Meckley. They will sign thier books and answer any question you might have about Williamsport's past. Robin's authored and co-authored eight books on this area. Lou co-authored a number of those and has also written about Williamsport's minor league babseball history. Thad has written a postcard history of Williamsport's Millionaire's Row. We will have books on the Underground Railroad. And, we will have books for kids on Pennsylvania, including a new board book for babies! (You can never start too young to build hometown pride!)  Come see our books at the River Walk this Saturday. We'll be there from 10 to 4 (weather permitting) with books from Otto's , a booklover's paradise in the heart of Downtown Williamsport.
