Tommy Greenwald decided that the only way to get his three reading-averse sons to read was to write a guide to reading avoidance. The result is a funny tale of a whip-smart middle schooler trying hard to maintain his perfect record of never reading a book while maintaining his good grades. You may recognize a kid or two as you shake your head in bemused wonder. It's sooo time consuming to avoid the task; he could have read a dozen books!
