The Day the Crayons Came Home: 9/14/15

Hi this is Betsy from Ottos.  In the picture book, The  Day the Crayons Quit we read about all the grievances the crayons had with their boy, Duncan—everything from Red complaining that he’s overused to Pink who only got used once!  (And Peach who wouldn’t come out of the box after Duncan stripped her naked!)  Now, in the sequel, The Day the Crayons Came Home, Duncan’s crayons send him postcards from wherever he left them—under the sofa, by the pool at the motel where his family vacationed, outside in the sun and in the pitch black basement, to mention a few—they all want to get back to the crayon box.  Each has a woeful tale to tell.  If you’ve ever found a crayon in your laundry, or cleaned up after a dog who threw one up or listened to your budding artist wail about missing crayons, you’ll want to inspire responsible coloring by reading him or her The Day the Crayons Came Home.  You’ll find it at Otto’s, a booklover’s paradise in the heart of downtown Williamsport.
