One of our First Friday guests this month is Priscilla Clement, a retired Penn State History Professor, who wrote Blood on the Path, a novel about Eagles Mere.  It’s a mystery…a very suspenseful one…about a Philadelphia family who spent their summers in Eagles Mere and who kept a secret for forty years.   When a child, who was the fourth generation Eagles Mere resident, finds a picture in the attic of a young girl who looks a lot like her, her mother discovers that she had an aunt that nobody every told her about.  She wants to know why and the closer she gets to the truth, the greater the danger she finds herself and her family in.  Our other guest is C.F.Lawrenson, a Tioga County artist and art teacher who will be signing his children’s book, Shalock and the Cloud of Bad Dreams which features his paintings and his child-like poetry.  It’s about a four year old girl whose sister moves to her own bedroom and leaves the little one afraid to go to sleep.  Both authors will sign from 6 to 8 at Otto’s a booklover’s paradise in the heart of Downtown Williamsport.
