Father’s Day 2015: 6/15/15

“I wasn’t asleep.  I was just checking out the inside of my eyelids.”  Hi this is Betsy from Otto’s with some Father’s Day inspired books for his big day.  (This coming Sunday, in case you forgot)

Like My Father Always Said…that was the book I was quoting.  One more—“If you let the small jobs add up, they become a big job.”  The book is one big affirmation of fatherly advice.  We have good novels for all kinds of dads.   Unbearable suspense—The Memory Man by David Baldacci.   Well researched historical fiction--The Fateful Lightning, the final installment in Jeff Shaara’s Civil War series that began with A Blaze of Glory.  Sensitive fiction about the later years of life—Our Souls at Night by Kent Haruf, two lonely senior citizens find a connection to life when they share an unconventional arrangement.  Come tell us what your special man has enjoyed in the past.  We’ll help you choose.  Or get Dad an Otto’s Book Certificate and let him pick his own.  We’re Otto’s, a booklover’s paradise in the heart of Downtown Williamsport.
