Memory Man: 5/16/2015

Hi, this is Betsy from Otto’s with a “two thumbs up” for David Baldacci’s latest thriller, Memory Man.  Amos Decker was the first player from Burlington to ever play for the NFL.  But his football career ended on his very first game when he was hit helmet to helmet and woke up from his concussion with the ability to remember everything he had ever experienced.  His football career over, he went to the police academy and settled into his home town working as a police detective.  When he came home one night and found his wife, daughter and brother-in-law brutally murdered, he fell apart, quit his job, lost his home and lived on the streets.  And then, more than a year later, someone confesses to the murders!  But Amos knows this couldn’t be the murderer.  Piece by piece, the crime is ultimately solved—but not without hair raising suspense.  Memory Man, by David Baldacci, number one  on the New York Times Bestseller List so, like all the 29 others on the list, it’s 20% off at Otto, a booklover’s paradise in the hart of downtown Williamsport.
