About the Author

Michael Anthony Cillo was born and raised in the rural community of Montoursville, Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is married and the father of two young men. Michael's desire to "create" has afforded him diversity in many rewarding disciplines. Through these many adventures in work and play, he never failed to pull a bit of fiction (or non-fiction) from an experience! During his many adventures Michael helped his father and mother build a small restaurant business, developed a custom furniture building business while still in college and was a collegiate gymnastics coach. He coached Little League and Pop Warner, was self-employed in the fitness and entertainment industry, designed, built, and directed a childcare center for his church, was employed as a supervisor at a youth residential treatment center and was a Rotary Club Officer. In recent years Michael taught elementary and middle school Physical Education while enjoying being a high school athletic director. He is also a certified American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor and volunteer. Currently, Michael is a high school educator and is extremely involved with the lives of the students. He participates in the school plays by orchestrating the lights and sound, is the chairman of a sixteen-school track & field conference, assisted in writing and is the Project Director of a federal government Physical Educations for Progress Grant, is a member of numerous professional organizations and is a member of his boroughs youth commission responsible for directing and mentoring children who are given second chances. Along with all these activities Michael still finds time to give back to himself by writing and winning awards for his collection of over one-hundred poems. He blesses his motivation for wanting to be busy! What an enabling effect it has on creativity! Michael Anthony Cillo's desire for writing this novel, The Sound Of Fear, manifested decades ago. The fear of simply 'taking the trash out back to the unlit garbage can' instilled an emotion in him to seek out the various forms of fear. It prompted him to take one form, sound, and "create" a plausible adventure in reading for the "fear" addicts! The Sound Of Fear is Michael Anthony Cillo's attempt to let you know you're not alone! "Be Ready!" Mr. Cillo cautions; he aims to draw you in and help you find out what motivates the fear in you!
